Thursday, Feb 9

7:30 - 9:00am | Breakfast and Advocacy Training - Hilton

This session will include a final advocacy training over breakfast and allow groups to coordinate roles in legislative meetings.   

 

9:00 - 11:30am | Legislative Meetings - Pocahontas Building

Meetings will be held with State Delegates and State Senators according to the schedule sent out in the building located at 900 E. Main St.  Contact John Bagwell (john@virginiaclinicians.org) if you have any questions about your meetings.   

 

12:00 - 1:30pm | Lunch Debrief - Hilton

This session will give everyone a chance to review experiences from legislative meetings and share any commitments made by legislative offices.  We will also present VCCA's annual climate and health leadership awards and highlight ways to support climate and health policies beyond Advocacy Day.
